At the “start” of the Town Brook is the old K-Mart building and its new residents — Pathway Services Unlimited. They will be marking Earth Day with a special day for Green Path Recycling from 8 am – 4 pm Saturday April 21, 2012.

Basically, anything you can plug in they accept for recycling. Don’t just throw things out – help create recycling jobs in Jacksonville (and across the USA) and keep potential toxics out of landfills. That, and raise money for Pathway’s services. Regular hours are 9 am – 3 pm Tuesdays/Thursdays. 1903 W. Morton, Jacksonville IL 62650 (east entrance).

Items accepted:

  • computers/laptops and anything you plug into them
  • TVs & computer monitors (big tubes or flat screens)
  • printers and ink/toner cartridges
